Campus Galvaniho supports Ligue Against Cancer

Campus Galvaniho supports the Day of Yellow Daffodils 2023. You can contribute at the reception of each building as well as in the cafeteria and canteen TakeOff and in canteen MediCULINA.

Around 40,000 oncology patients are diagnosed annually in Slovakia. Life can sometimes take a sharp turn, particularly in cases of oncological diagnoses. The League Against Cancer thanks everyone who can look at “life from a different perspective” and be supportive by wearing a yellow daffodil and contributing to the Day of yellow daffodils collection.

Everyone can contribute to supporting people with cancer. The League Against Cancer has been helping oncology patients in Slovakia for 33 years.

HOW TO CONTRIBUTE?

YOU CAN GET A YELLOW DAFFODIL:

On April 20, 2023 for a voluntary contribution on receptions at every one of our buildings, in canteens TakeOff and MediCULINA and from volunteers in the streets of Slovakia.

ONLINE AND SMS CONTRIBUTION METHODS

From April 17 to April 28, you can contribute through:

SMS to 848 (the value of the SMS is €3 in the networks of all mobile operators). Collection account SK09 0900 0000 0054 5454 5454. QR code.

From April 20 to April 22 at drugstores, pharmacies, and grocery stores:

dm drogerie – you can contribute by making a voluntary contribution at the cash registers and in selected stores in cities, as well as through payment terminals.

Dr.Max – in all of the more than 355 Dr.Max pharmacies in Slovakia, you can contribute by making a voluntary contribution of €1 or any multiple of this amount. You can contribute by card or in cash directly at the counter (pick-up point in the pharmacy), where the pharmacist will also hand you the collection symbol – a yellow daffodil.

Tesco – in addition to the option of contributing directly to the Day of Yellow Daffodil collection on April 20 at the cash registers by volunteers in Tesco premises, customers have a special opportunity. From April 20 to April 22, they can contribute directly at the cash register through coupons worth €1, €3, and €5 (they can combine them as they wish). Coupons will be placed along with narcissus flowers at the narcissus stand by the cash registers or at the entrance.
